oh the colors Mother Nature sharesDecember 2 , 2017
So guess you have gathered this is the time of year when Outback Farm gets a little quiet. Not too many Facebook postings, no signs out on the roadways, maybe a couple of emails and a few website updates such as this. It's all good, we are regenerating, gathering our strength and preparing for the next better than before blueberry season. Brainstorming, pruning, planning, pruning,  manicuring, pruning, Yup, there is plenty of
pruning to go around. And, we will all be thankful come the 2018 blueberry season.

did somesome say blueberry cheesecake?October 24, 2017

If you would like to be added to our email list, after your name just type "yes" and we will include you for our next

July 20, 2014 Even though there are no blueberries left to pick for this year we don't want you to think we are "taking it easy" because there is actually still lots to do. We continue to work in the herb garden and the high tunnel is beginning to produce the most luscious tomatoes you've ever tasted. Life is good on the farm gang.

pure and quiet

2014 - So while we were experiencing our cold and snowy winter at the farm we decided  to practice some "self-imposed continuing education." It's workin' pretty good too. Amazing there is so much information out there it's hard to sift through it all and decide which direction to head first. But we feel like more knowledge helps us do a more efficient job in order to provide you an excellent product come spring. If you've been to the farm previously you'll see what we've added since you were here last. Our expectations are that you will love it.
2013  -  Gee, we even froze blueberries this year. You know what that means. Yup, you can come and get farm fresh frozen blueberries whenever you want. Just give us a call. We  try to be available for your convenience and it works out most of the time. AND, we want you to know we really appreciate your interest in buying food locally grown, after all, that's what we do.
We are open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm unless you have made previous arrangements to pick at another time.
Directions to the farm:
from Pryor go east on Hwy. 20; make left (north) turn at 438 Rd. (across from gas station and race track); stay right, go straight at stop sign; stay on main roadways (couple curves to road) until you come to intersection of 439 and 470 roads; go right or east at 470 Rd.; you are there. Look for signs posted along the way.
from Pryor go north on Hwy. 69 until you come to 470 Rd.; make right turn (east); go straight on 470 Rd. for 7 miles...you've arrived at gate. Look for signs posted along the way

it's gonna be blueberries
It's pretty simple really, our philosophy is based on the belief that it wouldn't hurt us to return to nature, at least a little bit. With this in mind we've turned some of our dirt into a blueberry patch.
Our goal is to provide our community with the best blueberries around, bar none. We want our friends and neighbors to return year after year to our manicured "U PICK" fields where they can enjoy fresh air, sunshine, a not too strenuous exercise and of course, fresh blueberries. The kind that burst into delicious nutritious flavor the minute they hit your mouth.

young plants with a bright future ahead

We've planted more than 2000 blueberry plants. We apply the TLC and patience and then let mother nature run her course and watch as each year our plants mature the bounty becomes greater and greater. We are excited!
When you arrive at our fields not only will your pallet be pleased but you will see the love, care and attention we've given our plants. Please stay in touch and watch us grow along with our blueberries.
